Members Damien O’Reilly and Chris McCullough represented the guild at the European Network of Agricultural Journalists (ENAJ) AGM online today (June 25, 2021).

The organisation split its AGM into two parts because of Covid-19 restrictions and is hoping to hold the second half as an in-person event in Slovenia in September, coinciding with Slovenia’s presidency of the EU.

Speaking following the meeting, Damien O’Reilly said:

Over the last year and a half, the otherwise very active ENAJ has had to run its meetings virtually. We have had three virtual events this year, plus today’s meeting.

It was great to see wonderful numbers in these events, but nothing beats meeting in person on our low budget trips, which we hope to recommence in autumn.
